Job Description
Reporting directly to the Regional Director and working closely with the Regional Team, you will have an understanding of an offices P&L and our Regulatory Framework and the effect both have in respect of acquisitions.
Job Requirements
You will have detailed knowledge of the IFA sector, ideally with previous financial planning experience and, therefore, able to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks. Previous experience of integrations of acquisitions and/or change management desirable
Job Responsibilities
Where holding client relationships, you will provide clients with financial advice and make recommendations on how best to meet their goals. You will be able to research the marketplace for available products and services, identify clients’ needs, design financial strategies and gain commitment from clients to proceed with your recommendations. You will provide first class financial planning and advice to our clients.
• Ensuring that the vendors are fully appraised in respect of the firms CIP, known as Cambridge Investments and understand the benefits and how to confidently discuss the CIP with clients.
• Keep the firms T&C managers fully appraised of the progress being made, so they can seamlessly take over post acquisition.
• Compare the firms current CIP with Cambridge, which will include liaising with the Regulatory Team to discuss their findings from DD, and a detailed comparison of performance.
• Assist vendors with the creation of our master spreadsheet which is used to allocate the firm’s clients to the most suitable advisers and prepare the LOA’s/Client Agreements.
• Assist the integration team as and when required, which will include monitoring progress and provide solutions for any potential bottle necks, ensuring minimal disruption to client service and regulatory standards being met.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure that they fully understand Perspective’s offering and provide them with responses to the vendors DD on Perspective, including details of vendors from previous acquisitions and answers to general queries they have raised.
• Support the effecting adoption and adherence to Group working practices.
• Oversight of the timely delivery of MiFID II compliant ongoing service reviews, following Perspective’s tried and tested process using a pre-defined suite of documents and process on IO to generate MI.
• Keep abreast of new industry developments and research the market to ensure that knowledge is current
• Keep up to date with financial products and legislation and comply with all industry rules and regulations
• Where appropriate manage client relationships and maintain competency as a practicing IFA.
Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional tasks considered reasonable
