Job Description
Due to our expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will act as the point of contact for technical queries with regards to pensions, investments and protection as well as processing new business applications and withdrawal requests covering all aspects within the general office administration to ensure a first-class service is provided to internal and external parties.

Location: Dinnington
Hours: Monday – Friday with an early finish on Friday (35hrs)
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience and qualifications (available upon request)
Job Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Financial Planning Firm.
- Working knowledge of IO/Platform experience.
- Understanding of Model Portfolios/DFMs is preferred.
- Well organised and ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with clients, colleagues & providers.
- Adaptable nature and ability to show initiative.
- Excellent team-working skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Inputting new business applications onto provider systems and our own back office system Intelligent Office.
- Policing the seamless process of application to completion for Pension, Investment, Mortgage & Protection business.
- Processing investment & pension withdrawals requests for clients including processing drawdown requests and dealing with appropriate reporting requirements.
- Setting up income requests with various pension and investment providers including drawdown.
- Dealing with technical requests from the Paraplanning & advice departments in support of their functions.
- Data cleanse of back office system where required.
- Processing lifetime mortgage applications.
- Fielding client queries and actioning a suitable response.
- Fielding remuneration queries.
- Project work as required by management.
- Compliance monitoring & reporting.
- Integrating with an extensive head office function for effective reporting.
- Producing Annual Suitability Reports.
Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.
