Welcome to the Perspective Academy. We created the Perspective Academy in 2014 to grow our next generation of financial planners and paraplanners who will share our client-centric and ethical approach which is firmly embedded within our business and supports our employees' growth and career aspirations.

Our Academy prides itself on supporting you to embed and apply the knowledge you are gaining through your studies in practice, by working closely with one of our experienced and highly qualified team over a period of time, depending on your level of experience when you join the Academy. This allows you to build your career, whilst equipping you with the skills and experience required for your development for a long and satisfying career within the industry.

Your future, your choice

In recognition of that fact that not everyone feels comfortable with having a financial target, once you become diploma qualified you will have three options:

Remain as a Paraplanner
Become an Financial Planner without a target
Become an Financial Planner with a target

We currently have 34 employees from Apprentice Administrator to Trainee Financial Planner enrolled in our Academy undertaking the necessary training and Professional Qualifications to support their development and reach their full potential.

Professional Development

We will support you by funding your study and resources, whether you undertake a Finance Apprenticeship or Diploma in Financial Planning. In addition, we will develop your personal and technical skills, enhance your experience and provide you with a mentor for support and guidance.

I started working as a Trainee Paraplanner in July 2016 and gained my Certificate in Paraplanning and Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in May 2018. As a result of achieving the Certificate in Paraplanning I am now working as a Paraplanner. I am also now studying for the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and in December 2018 passed my first exam for this. I find working alongside studying really helps to give the information I read in the study books a real life perspective and how it works for our clients in practice. I have also received a lot of support and guidance which I feel has been extremely valuable in helping me pass my exams and in my role as a Paraplanner.
