Stephen started in the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) industry in 2016. He was an administrator for two and a half years then moved into a trainee paraplanner role. This helped to build his knowledge and to learn the ropes. Stephen then went on to complete his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, gaining valuable experience and knowledge which has helped him to naturally develop from a paraplanner to financial planner.
His role involves a wide range of aspects from preparing annual/routine reviews, preparing reports and carrying out research, client meetings and carrying out work on the back of these to help clients work towards achieving their objectives. He enjoys his role very much, especially getting to know clients on a personal level and understanding what their objectives are with their investments/pensions etc and helping them work towards achieving these.
Stephen likes to keep busy outside of work, he has three kids and a dog to keep him on his toes and enjoys spending time going out for walks together. He’s also a supporter of Huddersfield Giants Rugby League and Liverpool Football Club.
